Summary

Secret Agent (Mazhai Pidikkatha Manithan)

When Law Minister Thavapanneem discovers that "Code 2223" alias Antony in the secret Indian force is the current Salim, he plans a fire accident in which Salim's fiancée and the commander's sister Diya are killed along with Salim's friends. Salim's commander rescues him, stages his death, and secretly sends him to live a quiet, hidden life in a remote village in the Andaman Islands. Shocked, Salim avoids speaking and develops an aversion to rain. He rescues an injured beagle dog named Hitler and nurses him back to health. Parameswaran "Burma", who co-owns the Rathnam Etho Shop with his mother, befriends Salim when they once worked under a ruthless loan shark named Dali. DSP Surla, a corrupt officer, publicly humiliates Dali at a toll plaza, waiting for an opportunity to arrest Dali. Dali threatens Soumya's father Raghavan to repay his friend's loan, and forces him to consume poison to get the money back. Meanwhile, Soumya files a complaint against Dali at the Surla police station.

In Chennai, Thavapannim tracks down Salim's former commander, who now owns a horse farm, and confronts him about Salim but he does not reveal his whereabouts. Burma, who has unrequited feelings for Soumya, takes Salim to her house, where she recognizes him as the one who saved her dog where Salim gives her an unsigned love letter from Burma. The next morning, Burma's hotel is attacked by Dali's men, who kidnap her for using Dali's name to escape from DSP Surla, where the incident goes viral on social media, mocking Dali. In revenge, Dali orders Burma to publicly slap Sarla to restore fear among the police and the public. Burma confides in Salim, who later finds Hitler injured again. The veterinarian reveals that the dog was intentionally harmed and upon arriving at Soumya's house, he finds her and her sister brutally attacked. At the hospital, Soumya confronts Sorla, accusing her of inaction despite her complaints, and claims that her father's scooter, which he rode to meet Dali, is being used by Dali's men, and that foul play is suspected in her father's death.

Salim retaliates against Dali's men and kidnaps six of them, for harming his friend Burma, Soumya, and the dog's dog. Salim interferes with Dali's planned attack on Sorla, hanging one of Dali's chickens from the roof of the mall along with five other chickens, further humiliating both Dali and DSP Sorla, who vows to find the culprit. Salim sends pictures of Hitler and the killed chickens to Soumya, much to her delight. Meanwhile, the Captain asks about the whereabouts of "2223" alias Antony, and the Chief replies that he is presumed dead. However, when the Captain suspects that Antony may be alive in the Andamans, the Chief reaches out to Salim to warn him and avoid an emotional attachment. Soumya asks Salim to retrieve her scooter from Dali, which he does before Burma arrives but has not yet handed it over to Soumya. Soumya meets Salim and Burma, thanks Salim for making her feel safe, and asks if Salim has ever felt love for her, to which he remains silent, while Soumya also understands his silence. Burma assumes that Soumya has reciprocated his feelings, while Burma's mother realizes that Salim has sacrificed his love for her son. The Captain contacts the Chief again, inquires about his visit to the Andamans and insists that "2223" must be killed to maintain the legitimacy of their previous missions. The Sardar heads to the Andamans to kill Salim.

Meanwhile, Dali's group is interrogating Burma in order to find the person responsible for killing his men. The police track down Soumya's scooter while Salim takes a food delivery job, which he had previously rejected, and uses it as an opportunity to park the car at Dali's house. Burma is suspicious of Salim, knowing that he had taken the scooter the previous night. Thinking it a trap, Dali orders Salim to return the scooter to Soumya's house but is caught by Sorla. Dali's men, with a prescription from the veterinarian, search for Salim and find his watch, which he had left as payment for the medicine. Salim plans to leave Andaman, meets with the veterinarian to get his watch back and escapes from Dali's men but runs into another group of chickens hired by Sorla, who are proceeding to attack Burma at his shop. There, Salim reveals himself as the man who attacked Dali's goons and proceeds to fight the chickens. Dali tracks Salim through Raghavan and kills Salim in front of Soumya. DSP Surla arrives and agrees that Dali will kill Salim, while the police secretly plan to arrest Dali for the murder. Burma rescues Salim and takes him to the ferry, but Burma and his mother are captured by Dali's goons. Salim goes to save them.
