Baby John is a 2024 Hindi action thriller film directed by Kalees. The film stars Varun Dhawan in the lead role along with Keerthy Suresh, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jackie Shroff and Rajpal Yadav. Produced by Jio Studios and Atlee under A for Apple Productions, Baby John is the official Hindi remake of Theri (2016). The film was released in theatres on 25 December 2024 and got mixed response. It is known for Varun Dhawan's mass action and Keerthy Suresh's Hindi debut.


PLOT / STORY OF BABY JOHN


The story is about DCP Satya Verma aka Baby John (Varun Dhawan), a brave police officer who fights against a powerful politician Babbar Sher (Jackie Shroff).

Babbar Sher is involved in women safety crimes. Satya arrests him and destroys his empire. To take revenge, Babbar kills Satya's family.

Satya thinks his wife (Keerthy Suresh) and daughter are dead, so he leaves police job and starts a new life in Kerala as a bakery owner and school teacher with his daughter Khushi.

But Babbar Sher finds him again after many years. How Baby John returns in his police avatar to save his daughter and give justice is the second half. The film has emotional father-daughter scenes and high action.
