Plot: What Is Vijaya Lakshmi About?
Bhagavanth Kesari is a jailer in a prison with a powerful past. He is close to his friend's daughter Vijaya Lakshmi (Sreeleela), whom he treats like his own daughter. Viji wants to join Indian Army, but she is a careless, fun-loving girl.
Kesari has a mission - to protect Viji from a powerful businessman Rahul Sanghvi (Arjun Rampal) who wants to take over her father's property and destroy her life. Rahul is the same man who killed Kesari's wife Kathyayani (Kajal Aggarwal).
Why did Rahul kill Kathyayani? How does Kesari train Viji to become a strong army officer and take revenge? This is the core story. It is classic Balakrishna style — powerful dialogues, action, and father-daughter emotion.
Why Vijaya Lakshmi Became A Hit
Sreeleela's Show: After Dhamaka, Sreeleela proved she can do action, not just dance. Her army training scenes and fight with goons went viral. Audience loved her as Vijaya Lakshmi, a strong female character.
