ABOUT THE MOVIE (IRU MURGAN / INTERNATIONAL ROWDY)

"Iru Mugan" is a 2016 South Indian action thriller film directed by Anand Shankar and produced by Shibu Thameens. The movie features an ensemble cast including Vikram, Nayanthara, Nithya Menen, Thambi Ramaiah, Nassar, Karunakaran, and Anand Shankar himself in pivotal roles. The plot of the movie revolves around Akilan, played by Vikram, an ex-Raw agent who is on a mission to hunt down Love, a deadly criminal mastermind who has developed a drug that can turn humans into mind-controlled zombies. Akhilan is assisted in his mission by the intelligent and resourceful Halena, played by Nayanthara, and the feisty computer hacker Aarushi, played by Nithya Menen.
