ABOUT THE MOVIE (LION)
Lion is a 2015 Indian Telugu-language action thriller produced by Rudrapati Ramana Rao under the SLV Cinema banner and directed by Satyadev. The film stars Nandamuri Balakrishna, Trisha Krishnan, and Radhika Apte in lead roles, with music composed by Mani Sharma.
Loosely inspired by the Hollywood film Unknown, Lion combines psychological mystery with political action. Despite its ambitious premise, the film did not perform well at the box office. It was later dubbed in Hindi as Ek Tsunami Jwalamukhi.

Plot Summary
The story begins in a hospital in Mumbai, where a man wakes up after being in a coma for 18 months. Suffering from memory loss, he is told by a couple that he is “Godse,” a corporate CEO. However, he instinctively believes his name is “Bose” and sets out to uncover the truth.
His search leads him to Hyderabad, where he encounters multiple people claiming to be connected to him—a woman who says she is his fiancée, another couple who claim to be his parents, and even a woman introduced as his wife. Each revelation only deepens the mystery.
As confusion turns into suspicion, Bose uncovers disturbing truths. Violent confrontations and strange behavior from those around him hint at a larger conspiracy. Eventually, he learns that he is actually a courageous CBI officer named Bose, who had been investigating the suspicious death of a former Chief Minister.
His investigation had exposed a political conspiracy involving the current Chief Minister, who orchestrated the assassination and manipulated evidence to seize power. To stop Bose, the conspirators betrayed him, leaving him in a coma and erasing his identity.
Now aware of his past, Bose sets out to finish what he started. Using strategy and media manipulation, he exposes the truth, forces the system to act, and brings down those responsible. In a final confrontation, justice is served, and Bose moves forward, ready to take on his next mission.
Reception
Lion received mixed to negative reviews from critics and underperformed commercially at the box office. However, it gained some attention for its high-concept storyline and performance by Nandamuri Balakrishna.
